Independent Non-Executive Director – Marketing & Communications

Snowsport Scotland wishes to make a step change in its ability to communicate with stakeholders and market its various products and services. To do this, a new Non-Executive position has been created to join the Board and provide strategic leadership in this crucial area.

This is a voluntary position, elected at a general meeting by the members of Snowsport Scotland Ltd.

Snowsport Scotland is the governing body for snowsport in Scotland and represents clubs, professionals and competitors on pathways, from grass roots participation to high performance sport. The snowsport landscape in Scotland is complex, varied and multifaceted, which brings opportunity and challenge in equal measure to the delivery of a national snowsport strategy.

A comprehensive review of governance is being conducted and the post holder will play a crucial role in the creation of a new strategy for 2018-2022. Key responsibilities can be found in the role description.
