Coaching Scheme Membership

In order to attend a skiing or snowboarding course it is necessary to become a member of the Snowsport Scotland Coaching Scheme. Members of any of the other Home Nation's Coaching Schemes are exempt from our membership for selected courses. Please indicate if you are a member of any of the schemes below. If you are a new member, or not currently up to date for this year, your membership fee will automatically be taken using your credit card details given on this form.Please note that if the course occurs in the next membership year your membership will also automatically be deducted if you have not yet paid, unless you are an existing direct debit payer.

Please note: Coaching Scheme Registration is not necessary to attend a First Aid course.

Snowsport Scotland requires all members of the coaching scheme to have a current first aid certificate in order for their qualification to be valid and a licence issued. This must be from a course with a minimum of 12 hours contact time, and delivered by an HSE approved provider.

Insurance

Members of the Snowsport Scotland Coaching Scheme are fully covered for professional indemnity and civil liability insurance.

For all courses you are advised to take out travel insurance covering cancellation and curtailment. This can be arranged through Go Travel Insurance on 0870 428 6135. Snowsport Scotland members get a 5% discount, see www.gotravelinsurance.co.uk/sss.

Cancellation

I understand that there is no refund of all course fees for all cancellations within 6 weeks of the course start date.

Snowsport Scotland Course Organisers and Tutors reserve the right to cancel any course before it commences; however every effort will be made to ensure courses operate.

Declaration

If this application is accepted I agree to abide by such regulations as Snowsport Scotland or its representatives may consider it advisable to make, in order to secure the safety and comfort of those taking part in the courses.
