"The charity Disability Snowsport UK delivers skiing to disabled people from grass roots through to the Paralympics. The British Disabled Ski Team is part of the charity.
Following on from the success of the Sochi Paralympics where we returned with 5 medals we are looking for guides to ski with our visually impaired skiers. We have lots of skiers needing to be guided in the UK and abroad.
Due to this demand DSUK are hosting a guiding day June 8th in Braehead, Glasgow.
We would like to invite anyone who is interested to attend and learn about what being a guide involves and how to become a guide for our athletes.
The day will include talks from the head coach of BDST Tony McCallister and Caroline Powell, paralympian guide who achieved 4 medals in Sochi, and two hours on snow trying out guiding techniques and learning what requirements are needed to be a guide.
If this is something that would interest you and you would like to come and find out more please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07792320622 or email@example.com.
Please can you pass this on to anyone who you think may interested in this opportunity. We are looking for guides who are 16 yrs and over and have race experience. "
