This slopestyle event is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages. All competitors will be judged over two official scored runs down a purpose built slopestyle course. Their highest score of the two runs will determine their ranking. The top 4 female and top 8 male competitors in ski AND snowboard will go through to a final. These competitors will then perform a further 2 judged runs, the best of which determines their final ranking.
In the event that there is a tie such tie will be broken by using the competitors' second run score. If two or more competitors are still tied, each will be awarded the same ranking.
