    Snowsport Scotland Development Officers x 2
    Part time positions (4 days a week – Mon Thurs), based in Scotland

    Development Officers wanted to bring innovation, fun and frolics to Snowsport Scotland! 

    Do you have a passion for snowsports, a talent for talking to a wide range of ages and a gift for delivering high quality programmes?

    If so, these jobs have your name written all over them.  You will be responsible for:

    • Increase membership in clubs annually through engagement with facilities, clubs and schools
    • Creating 25 registered volunteer event experts, trained and accredited to fulfil event requirements across Scotland every year

    Funding from sportscotland and Ski Scotland allows us to recruit 2 Development Officers (4 days a week), one based in the South of Scotland and one based in the North.

    The annual salary for each post is £19,000 ~ £21,000 pro rata, depending on your experience and qualifications.

    Placement Opportunities - British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI)
    June - September 2015 (3 months)

    The British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) has two student placement opportunities available for the summer of 2015 (July to September). One placement will be in the Member Services & Marketing Department and the other placement will be in Training and Membership. 

    This is an ideal opportunity for two students to gain valuable work experience in a busy membership and training organisation for a 3 month placement period. 

    Successful students will be supporting the two departments with a number of specific projects. These are detailed below. As well as working on clearly defined projects, the students will be working across all departments gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience in a fun, training based organisation 

    The placement will be 3 months.   Office working hours are normally Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch (unpaid). There may be some weekend working required at member events. Placement rate is £7.50 per hour.
