Snowsport Scotland is working with the Sports Academy of Scotland to offer two internships for individuals between the ages of 16 and 19 (age on the day the contract commences). Interns must not be in education already but will take the SVQ level 3 qualification in Sports Management during the placement. Financial support is available. This is a 12 month contract and time spent in the workplace is 25 hours per week. Qualifications workshops and training days are also part of the contract.
Applicants must be computer literate, have good attention to detail, disciplined and willling to learn. Immediate start.

SNO!zone SCOTLAND - Snow School Manager
SNO!zone Scotland has an exciting opportunity for a Snow School Manager to join the Braehead team. Reporting to the Site Director, you will be responsible for driving forward the success of our Snow School. Working directly with the team of instructors you will bring passion and new ideas to the business. Focusing on developing the team and the experience for our customers, you will form a central role to the success of SNO!zone. You will also oversee the rental department looking after the customer experience on the slope, from issuing the rental equipment to ensuring the slope is to the highest standard of presentation.
You will directly lead our Team Leaders in Snow School and the rental department, being both inspirational and motivational to the Team.
SNO!zone Scotland opened it's doors in 2006 and has welcomed over 1 million visitors! Every single person in the SNO!zone team is passionate about increasing interest and participation in winter sports. We are constantly developing new products and packages to reflect the needs and desires of our customers of which your input will be fundamental.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* Must hold at least a BASI level 2, ski or snowboard qualification (or equivalent)
* Ideally dual qualified in ski and snowboard
* Established experience of managing teams of people
* Proven track record of working in the snowsports industry desirable
* Ability to drive forward staff training and development
* Positive & goal oriented with demonstrated initiative and high energy levels
* Demonstrate an understanding for budgets and rotas effective for the business
* Ability to be flexible on working hours

Glenshee Performance Squad is looking to strengthen its coaching pool for this coming season.
We are expecting our trainee numbers to grow significantly . Last season we catered for about 150 trainees at weekends
Our training is structured so that trainees are developed skiing full terrain and when they have reached the appropriate level then they are invited to specialize in Racing , freestyle or freeride {acting as a base for instructor /coach training}
Ronnie Naismith is our Head Race coach. We may appoint a Head Freestyle coach and a Head Freeride coach should suitable candidates come forward .We are looking to recruit specialist coaches as well as general coaches.
It is our intention to recruit the best coaches that are available, so to this end we pay top wages and offer training and coach support for further training.
