    Managing Director - Nevis Range Mountain Experience

    Salary £37,000 – £40,000 per annum FTE with car, defined contribution pension scheme, as well as access to snow sports and world class mountain biking facilities.

    This is an exciting opportunity to run a Scottish ski area, visitor attraction and activity centre with overall responsibility for the smooth running of a multifaceted operation. 

    Nevis Range employs approx. 55 staff throughout the year and twice that in winter. 

    Turnover varies dramatically according to the weather conditions but is in the region of 2.5m. We are looking for an energetic person to lead an experienced team of senior managers and work with a passionate board of directors.  It is a rewarding but challenging job and requires the ability plan for varying outcomes; manage core operations and various seasonal departments. 

    The successful candidate will be interested in snow sports and other outdoor activities and will be prepared to vary their working hours according to the season, be part of the weekend/holiday rota, and work with different event organisers to plan and deliver small, medium and large events based around the onsite infrastructure.

    Applicants should be educated to degree level or hold equivalent business experience, the qualification preferably with a focus on business management or equivalent.

    Alpine Race Coaches - Bearsden Ski Club

    Bearsden Ski Club runs a dry mat race coaching program on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays for children from 8 to 16.

    Some of our more experienced coaches are emigrating(!) and we would like to offer regular employment to qualified race coaches who are able to commit to regular sessions from September.
