    Invitation to tender: Snowsport Scotland Data Capture Project

    Snowsport Scotland would like to invite your organisation to tender for the Data Capture Project (as detailed below), for the financial year ending 30th June 2015. 

    Snowsport Scotland requires information to be collected around the participation in snowsports in Scotland, on all surfaces, the demographics, the frequency of participation, and for those who participate in snowsports but only abroad to be included. This information would allow Snowsport Scotland and its partners to be more informed around the participation in snowsports in Scotland, and to an extent overseas.

    Alpine Race Coaches - Bearsden Ski Club

    Bearsden Ski Club runs a dry mat race coaching program on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays for children from 8 to 16.

    Some of our more experienced coaches are emigrating(!) and we would like to offer regular employment to qualified race coaches who are able to commit to regular sessions from September.

    Placement Opportunities - British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI)
    June - September 2015 (3 months)

    The British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) has two student placement opportunities available for the summer of 2015 (July to September). One placement will be in the Member Services & Marketing Department and the other placement will be in Training and Membership. 

    This is an ideal opportunity for two students to gain valuable work experience in a busy membership and training organisation for a 3 month placement period. 

    Successful students will be supporting the two departments with a number of specific projects. These are detailed below. As well as working on clearly defined projects, the students will be working across all departments gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience in a fun, training based organisation 

    The placement will be 3 months.   Office working hours are normally Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch (unpaid). There may be some weekend working required at member events. Placement rate is £7.50 per hour.
