Following the success of the Scottish Freestyle Series in 2010/11, Snowsport Scotland is once again supporting British freestyle skiers and snowboarders by delivering a comprehensive programme of national and regional freestyle events in 2011/12. With three Scottish Freestyle Championships covering all surfaces for boarders and skiers from age six up. This season’s competitions programme is designed to encourage strong competition.

As in previous years the formats will be based around slopestyle, big air or rail jam competitions allowing both sponsored and rookie skiers and boarders to compete across a wide range of freestyle elements for a British Ranking.
Snowsport Scotland has developed a UK wide freestyle seeding system in partnership with the British Snow Tour, www.snowsportscotland.org or www.britishsnowtour.com and this development has enabled British freestyle athletes to follow a direct pathway from regional to national and on to international competition. TTR points are once again up for grabs when competing at the Scottish Indoor Freestyle Champs and the Scottish Freestyle Champs at Cairngorm.
