Why should we affiliate?

Snowsport Scotland is a not-for-profit membership organisation, and the voice of Scotland’s skiers and snowboarders.

We work hard to develop snowsports on behalf of the whole community, supporting clubs and facilities, developing a strong workforce of instructors, coaches and leaders, and increasing grass-roots participation.

Affiliated member clubs, associations and organisation become part of a broader strategic consultation group leading the development of Snowsports across Scotland. They also become eligible for funding support and insurance and receive a host of valuable benefits outlined below. Affiliation with Snowsport Scotland is open to all organisations servicing and supporting the snowsports industry in Scotland.

To be eligible to affiliate to Snowsport Scotland clubs and associations must be formally constituted with an appropriate legal and governance structure comprising a managing committee. They must align their activities to the broader strategic objectives of Snowsport Scotland and adhere to the policies detailed in the membership application form.
