Team GB’s Youth Olympic Games Sucess

Zak Carrick-Smith earned an astonishing GOLD medal at a Winter Olympic event - winning gold in the combined competition at the Youth Olympic Games. Astoundingly, he went on to secure a silver medal in the GS event in the following days. A monumental achievement for Zak, his family and Team GB.

On the topic of family, Carrick-Smith's mum, Emma Carrick-Anderson, competed in alpine skiing for Great Britain at four Winter Games between 1992 and 2002. Now his coach, the Olympic genes clearly run strong in the bloodline! A great story for British Alpine skiing and a star-born for GB.
