Mountain Conditions
LAST UPDATED: 18/03/24 10:00 am
Insufficient snow for snowsports, however, the climbers gondola is open for passengers today!!
Open for snowsports with man made snow on the beginner runs and 1x intermediate run. Please note they will be closed Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next 2 weeks.
The M1 piste has good width down to the M1 crossover then narrow into the 105 piste. The M1 queuing area is thin and is best walked. The Ptarmigan tow, Ciste Tow, along with the M1 Poma and are opening. Warm overnight temperatures have affected the lower beginners’ zone, magic carpet will not operate today. If you are touring there are no routes through the Cas, the best Route is on the M2 fence line, which is closed at the moment.
Main basin, Happy Valley and Spring run should all provide nice skiing. Mid and lower mountain runs thin, narrow and broken so are now only for access. Best route down mid mountain is via the Wall. There is now a short 5 to 10min walk to and from the Cliffy. Sledge Park is full length and full width and in great shape. We recommend you arrive before 2.30pm for sledging to get a reasonable time on the mountain.
Closed untill Wednesday 20th @ 0900hrs.
