Alpine Race Timer and General Director Vacancies

Snowsport Scotland has announced two new opportunities for individuals eager to contribute to the future of Scottish snowsports—one at the strategic level and another on the front lines of competitive racing.

Non-Executive Director (Commercial)

Snowsport Scotland is currently seeking a Non-Executive Director (Commercial) to join its Board. This is a voluntary position designed for a commercially savvy leader with a passion for sport and a vision to help elevate snowsports across Scotland.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving the organisation’s commercial strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying sustainable revenue opportunities. With a seat on the Board, this director will influence high-level decision-making and help shape the future of Scottish snowsports.

Alpine Race Timer

Snowsport Scotland is also contracting an Alpine Race Timer to support the delivery of Alpine events. This flexible position is ideal for individuals who are either experienced in race timing or eager to learn a new skill set.

The Alpine Race Timer will be responsible for overseeing timing and calculation operations at key national events, ensuring precision and fairness in competition.

How to Get Involved

Both roles offer unique opportunities to make a meaningful impact on snowsports in Scotland—whether you're guiding strategy in the boardroom or ensuring athletes get accurate results on the mountain.
