COMPETITION SCHEDULE FOR PARALYMPICS
The official competition schedule for the upcoming ParalympicsGB athletes is now available, outlining a full few weeks of competition across Para Alpine skiing, Para Nordic and Para Snowboard disciplines.
The schedule runs from 7–15th March, with events taking place daily and featuring a number of leading British and Scottish para-athletes.
Among those set to compete are Scottish athletes Scott Meenagh, who will race in the Para Nordic biathlon and cross-country events, alongside Alpine skiers Dom Allen and Neil Simpson plus Scottish guides. The Para Snowboard programme will feature Davy Zyw.
The Para Alpine schedule includes downhill, super-G, giant slalom and slalom events for visually impaired and standing categories, while Para Snowboard athletes will compete in snowboard cross and banked slalom formats. Para Nordic racing features both sprint biathlon and longer cross-country interval start events.
Qualification rounds, heats and finals will take place throughout the week, culminating in several key medal races.
