Snowsport Scotland is launching a new Adaptive Community, and you’re invited to join the conversation at our first webinar.
Whether you want to explore adaptive skiing and snowboarding, develop your teaching and coaching skills, or find out more about Scotland’s Para pathway, this welcoming introductory session is a chance to connect and get involved.
The webinar will bring together people from across the snowsports community to explore opportunities to participate, teach, coach and support others. It’s also an opportunity to share your ideas and help shape what the Adaptive Community does next.
Who can join?
The webinar is open to everyone, including:
Skiers and snowboarders interested in exploring the Para pathway
Current adaptive instructors and Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) members
Instructors looking to broaden their teaching skills
Club coaches interested in working with Para athletes and supporting their development
Volunteers, supporters and anyone curious about adaptive snowsports
No previous adaptive snowsports experience is needed, just an interest in being part of the community.
What to expect
We’ll introduce the Adaptive Community, provide an overview of adaptive skiing and snowboarding and the Para pathway, and discuss ways to get involved. There will be time for questions, conversation and your suggestions for future activity.
We’ll also share details of our next events, giving you the chance to find out what’s coming up and how to take part.
