JOIN OUR TEAM: ADAPTIVE AND PARA ALPINE PATHWAY COACH
Snowsport Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Adaptive and Para Alpine Pathway Coach to lead the continued development of Para Alpine skiing in Scotland.
This exciting part-time role (3 days per week) offers the opportunity to make a real difference to adaptive snowsports by growing participation, supporting athletes on their performance journey and helping strengthen Scotland's Para Alpine pathway from grassroots through to international competition.
Working closely with athletes, families, coaches, clubs, facilities and partner organisations, the successful candidate will play a key role in creating opportunities for more people with disabilities to experience skiing while supporting talented athletes as they progress towards classification and potential selection for the Great Britain Snowsport squad.
The role includes planning and delivering Para Alpine race coaching sessions, organising training camps in the UK and overseas, delivering domestic competitions and development events, and contributing to the continued growth of adaptive snowsports across Scotland. An operational budget is provided to support the delivery of coaching activities, camps and events.
We're looking for someone with a recognised Adaptive Ski Instructor qualification, experience coaching Alpine racing and a passion for athlete development. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organised and able to build strong relationships across the adaptive snowsports community. Experience supporting athletes with disabilities within a performance pathway and an understanding of the Scottish and UK snowsports landscape will be highly valued.
Salary and Benefits
Part-time: 3 days per week
Salary: £33,500 FTE (pro rata)

There may also be opportunities for additional employment or project-based work in the future, subject to organisational requirements and funding.
