NAIRNS SUPPORT OUR NORDIC STARS
Over recent days Scottish cross-country skiers Tabitha Williams and Anna Pryce have both achieved the Olympic Qualification Standard (OQS) for the Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina 2026 — a significant milestone in their international careers.
With only one Team GB place available in the discipline, final selection will be confirmed following the completion of the qualification period. Achieving OQS reflects years of sustained performance and commitment from both athletes.
Snowsport Scotland, supported by its commercial partner Nairn’s Oatcakes, has helped ensure both athletes could attend key international competitions during this decisive phase of qualification.
Iain Ramsay-Clapham, CEO of Snowsport Scotland, said:
“Reaching OQS is a major achievement and a testament to the professionalism and dedication shown by both athletes. We are grateful to Nairn’s for their continued support of Scottish snowsports and the Nordic pathway.”
Kevin Butterworth, Marketing Director at Nairn’s, said:
“Our partnership with Snowsport Scotland is about long-term commitment to athletes and the wider snowsports community. We’re proud to support the Nordic programme and to help create the conditions that allow athletes to perform at their best on the world stage.”
