SAVE THE DATE: SNOWSPORT SCOTLAND EDUCATION CONFERENCE

The sun was shining as 37 coaches, instructors and leaders joined us at Craigclowan School in Perth for this year’s Snowsport Scotland Workforce Education Conference, a fantastic 40% increase in attendance compared with last year.

With more than nine workshops on the programme, there were plenty of opportunities to learn, share ideas and develop new skills. A session from sportscotland on Coaching Children proved to be a particular highlight, sparking some great conversations among attendees.

Craigclowan’s dry ski slope provided the perfect setting for a range of practical workshops, covering personal skiing skills and advanced alpine setting, as well as roller ski sessions.

It was also encouraging to welcome more women to the conference this year, supported by subsidised tickets through our Women and Girls Fund.

With a varied programme, a brilliant group of attendees and sunshine throughout, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. A big thank you to everyone who attended, delivered a workshop and helped make the conference such a success!
