SCOTTISH WEEKLY ROUNDUP

It’s been a busy week for Scottish athletes beyond the Paralympics. At the Junior World Championships, congratulations go to all competitors, with a special mention to Tabitha Williams, who achieved a top-30 finish (27th) in the U23 10km Interval Start Classic.

The Cross Country squad also had a strong showing in Lahti, Finland:

• Andrew Young finished an impressive 16th in the Sprint final.

• James Clugnet secured 19th in the Sprint.

• Andrew Musgrave placed 19th in the 10km Interval Start Classic.

That makes three top-20 finishes in an excellent week on the World Cup circuit.

Looking ahead at the World Cups:

• Owen Vinter – SG/DH World Cup (11–15th March)

• James Clugnet – Cross Country (12th March)

• Andrew Musgrave & Andrew Young – Cross Country (14th March)

Finally, congratulations to Alexander Stewart and Fletcher Nicoll, who have been selected for the Moguls Junior World Cup squad, competing on the 16–23rd March.
