Snowsport Scotland to Host 2025 AGM Online on 8th October

Snowsport Scotland has confirmed its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held online via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 8th October at 7:00 pm.

All individual members and club or association representatives are invited to join.

What’s on the Agenda

Key agenda items for the meeting include:

• A welcome address and year-in-review by the Chair, Gavin Thomson

• Approval of the minutes from the 2024 AGM

• Adoption of the financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2025

• Reappointment of Robb Ferguson & Co Chartered Accountants as auditors

• Elections to fill several Director roles:
    • Park & Pipe Director: Gail Robertson
    • Nordic Director: Simon Bate
    • Alpine Director: Callum Henderson
    • General Director (Commercial): Gordon Fraser

• Any Other Business (AOB)

After the formal business is complete, Vicky Gosling, CEO of GB Snowsport, will present a session titled “Countdown to Milano Cortina”, offering insight into the path toward the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, and highlighting Scottish athletes’ prospects.

Voting & Attendance Details

• Members are encouraged to vote online in advance and register whether they intend to attend.

• Voting closes Sunday 5 October.

• Each member vote is initially counted as a show of hands. If no clear majority emerges, a poll method may be used—where clubs may exercise votes according to their membership numbers.

• Club votes must be cast by an official office bearer designated in advance. In cases where multiple votes are submitted incorrectly for a club, only the first will be accepted.

Once you register to attend, a Teams meeting link will be sent to you on the morning of the AGM.
