Scottish Schools Snowsports Association (SSSA) Unveils Full Season of 29 Events

The Scottish Schools Snowsports Association (SSSA) has confirmed its full calendar of 29 events for the 2025/26 school year, offering pupils from primary and secondary schools across Scotland a rich programme of snowsport opportunities.

Since its founding in 1971, the SSSA has championed school-level engagement in skiing and snowboarding. This year’s schedule again spans seven major championship & festival formats, supported by a network of regional events that underpin the wider programme.

How schools can get involved:

  1. Review the event list and pick the events that best suit your pupils’ interests and abilities.

  2. Submit entries via the SSSA website before deadlines.

  3. Organise training or trials locally to prepare your teams.

  4. Coordinate transport, supervision, and registration ahead of each event.

With 29 distinct opportunities this season, the SSSA calendar offers flexibility, variety, and opportunities for students to try new events or compete in familiar ones. Whether your school has never participated or is a regular podium contender, there is space for all.

You can book onto events here.
