WORKFORCE EDUCATION CONFERENCE: REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

Snowsport Scotland has confirmed that its annual Workforce Education Conference will take place on Sunday 20 September 2026 at Craigclowan School in Perth, bringing together coaches, instructors, and alpine ski leaders from across the country.

Running from 0900 to 1700, the conference will provide a full day of professional development, combining classroom-based learning with practical on-slope sessions. The venue offers a versatile setting that supports a wide range of workshop formats, ensuring attendees can benefit from both theory and practical experience.

The event is open to Snowsport Scotland Coach, Leader, and Instructor members, as well as individuals holding recognised snowsports qualifications from other awarding bodies, including BASI.

Participants will be able to choose from a selection of 90-minute workshops delivered by Snowsport Scotland tutors. While full workshop details are yet to be confirmed, the programme will cater to a wide range of interests and experience levels.

In addition to skill development opportunities, the conference offers significant continuing professional development (CPD) benefits. Snowsport Scotland members will receive a two-year CPD revalidation upon attendance, while non-members will be issued a certificate of attendance to support their own CPD requirements, subject to approval by their awarding body.
